Faced up, caught in front
Staring at the pitch, they’ve all gone up.
You feel it’s out, you know it’s out.
You know that the thing’s well worth a shout.
When that sinking feeling ends up in your toes.
Everybody knows
When that sinking feeling ends up in your toes.
A milk bar by the beach
A little bit of something else to eat.
Some sleight of hand, a rubber band
Not enough to get it past the man.
She sat next to me
My heart nearly stopped, I forgot to breathe.
She kind of smiled, kind of sighed.
She asked when my best friend would arrive.

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
